Grevilleas are beautiful Australian native plants that come in many varieties, colours and sizes. There is over 350 species of Grevillea that are native to Australia and New Guinea. They are great for attracting birds and butterflies to your garden, and can be grown as shrubs, trees or ground covers. I absolutely love them in my garden and have a huge variety of different colours and types. Rainbow Lorikeets and Blue faced honey eaters are some of the main types of birds that enjoy their nectar, as well as a large variety of native Australian bees and European bees.
On top of being amazing at attracting wildlife into your yard, they’re hardy and easy to grow and bear striking blooms for many months of the year. The flowers are so diverse in colour and come in a variety of shapes and sizes such as small and spider-like, toothbrush-style, or large and brush-like.
